Escape The Fate Reschedule UK Tour As Bassist Kicks Habits In Rehab!

After postponing their two gigs in their UK tour, which were originally meant to take place on December 6th and 7th 2010, due to bassist Max Green going to rehab, however we can confirm Escape The Fate have managed to reschedule the shows.

The band will now be playing at London’s Islington Academy on January 14th and 16th 2011.

All original tickets remain valid for the rescheduled dates.

This is great news for fans as they wont have to worry about missing out on the Las Vegas rockers performing songs from their most recent album which is self-titled. This album is their third as a band but only the second since Craig Mabbitt filled the position on vocals permanently. However, this is not so good news for other fans in the EU because on the same post, Escape The Fate also announced they will not be joining Bullet For My Valentine on their European tour that kicked off in Helsinki, Finland on the 13th of November 2010.  Instead the band will remain in the states to support their band mate, bassist Max Green, as he enters an undisclosed rehab for drug and alcohol addiction.

Craig Mabbitt stated “Max needs his friends and family by his side, so we’re not gonna’ leave him. Max is one of my best friends and has never done this band wrong in any way shape or form. It’s very honourable of him to admit he has a problem and wants to seek help for the longevity of his life and this band. I’m so sorry to the fans, but so proud of Max. He needs our love and support through this rough time in his life, so let’s give it to him. Our soldiers never let us down and we will be back to play Europe and the two London dates very soon. We love you guys.”

If you happen to be going to any of the UK tour dates send us your pics from the gig! We will be delighted to post them for you and show them off to fans!

Thank you!
