New Festival Launched: Red List Live

Festival details have been coming in thick and fast to music.co.uk, and this week is no exception. Early Bird tickets are now on sale for Red List Live, a music and arts festival in Kent, which promises an outstanding array of entertainment over 3 days in June.

Red List Live isn’t just your run of the mill music festival though, it’s a festival with a heart, that aims to raise £100,000 in its first year, to support the Aspinall Foundation and raise awareness of the work done to protect ‘The Red List Of Endangered Species’ by the International Union of Conservation of Nature (ICUN).

The chosen beneficiaries of the money raised both from profits and ticket sales will come as no surprise, as the festival itself is being held at Port Lympne Wild Animal Park in Kent The park is home to some of the world’s most fascinating animal species, including Red Pandas, African Elephants and Siberian Tigers, and it has a long-standing history of promoting animal conservation. The Aspinall Foundation which owns the park, also manages 2 Gorilla Rescue and Rehabilitation projects in Central Africa.

Across the 3 days of the festival, visitors are promised over 200 acts across a variety of stages. Some big names will take to the main stage, while alternative/unsigned/ and dance acts will also be performing across the weekend. There will also be plenty of family friendly fun, comedy in the ‘pub’, and everyone buying a ticket gets free access to the park over the weekend too.

Early Bird weekend tickets are now available online for a limited time, with further ticket outlets and day tickets coming soon. Why not join up to 15,000 people for a great weekend of summer fun, and support a good cause at the same time.

Further information and tickets are available from www.redlistlive.com, and the site will also link you up with Port Lympne, The Aspinall Foundation, and The ICUN online. Keep your eyes open for more festival news, right here @ music.co.uk.
