Matt Cardle Debuts ‘Loving You’ Video

Matt Cardle has debuted the video for his new single, ‘Loving You’.

The single is the first to be taken from the singers currently untitled third studio album.

Featuring Mel C, the video shows the pair in an empty house singing about how they ‘want to get under your body.’

The video begins with Matt looking rather somber, before we are introduced to Melanie, who is lying rather awkwardly on a sofa.

As the video progresses things start to get a bit hot under the collar for the pair, who share a kiss or two while lying on a mattress in the middle of the floor.

“I met Melanie at the Isle of Wight festival last year,” said Cardle. “I’m a big fan and I’ve always loved her voice.

“I had already started writing ‘Loving You’ and I thought with a few changes it could work perfectly as a duet. I’m really thrilled with the song and can’t wait for people to hear it.”

Since winning the X Factor in 2010, Matt Cardle has gone onto receive success, with nearly a million followers on Twitter.

His debut album, Letters went to number two in the charts, with the follow-up Album, The Fire peaked at number eight.

The song itself is a change in tone from his first album, and fortunately it is a grower.

‘Loving You’ will be available to buy and download from August 18, with the album set to be released in October.
