‘NOW That’s What I Call Music’ To Launch TV Channel

Music brand, ‘NOW That’s What I Call Music’ is set to launch its first television channel later this month.

Generally shortened to ‘NOW’ the brand is famous world wide for its compilation albums of some of the biggest and best singles around.

From October 23rd the channel ‘NOW Music’ will be viewable on Freesat 512 and Sky 378.

The launch episode will feature its very own Top 100 Countdown of the favourite videos that have been released since NOW was launched. These videos are currently being decided on a vote via Facebook and Twitter.

Day to day wise, the channel aims to largely target the teenage market and also grandparents. This means that during the day-time, NOW Music will play chart songs and current tracks, while in the evening older tunes from NOW will be played from their back catalogue.

For all those who want to listen to Christmas songs on repeat all day, on November 22nd the channel will temporarily change to NOW Christmas; playing the biggest Christmas hits all the way through to December 27th.

The brand released its first album in the UK in 1983, and has been releasing compilation albums ever since. Over the past 30 years they have sold over 100million albums across the world.
