Christmas is one thing that’s guaranteed to get me on my soap box. I want to enjoy the rare bursts of autumn sunshine, not start my Christmas Shopping in September. But however much I hate the early shift towards Christmas stock in the shops, it’s impossible to ignore some of the new products that have, or soon will be released onto the market, especially those with a music angle.
First up Take That have announced that they will be releasing ‘The Circus Live’ DVD on November 23rd. Exciting news for all those eager to relive their favourite tour moments, and those who (like me) missed out on one of the biggest and best Take That shows ever! The two disc DVD set features all the bands best loved songs, and the most bits of the show, including the famous circus elephant. There’s also an exclusive session Gary, Mark, Jason, and Howard recently recorded at Abbey Road studios! A must for any Take That fan’s Christmas stocking.
If I wasn’t a tad shy of singing in my living room, I’d be first down the shops to grab the latest product in the Sing Star Brand, Singstar Motown. Available on Playstation 2 and Playstation 3 this product will have you grabbing the mic and singing along in no time, as it celebrates 50 years of one of our greatest music genres. Artists/Songs featured include The Jackson 5 with ABC, The Temptations and Get Ready, Marvin Gaye and I Heard It Through The Grapevine, and Stevie Wonder with For Once In My Life. The Motown record label has been producing superb hits since 1959 from a whole host of stars, and many of the classics are on Sing Star Motown for you all to enjoy! Sounds like fun doesn’t it?
But not everyone likes a big of karaoke, some people are more in tune with the mobile market when it comes to gadgets, and they are joined in this by girl group The Saturdays. The Chart Topping girl band helped launch the brand new Samsung Genio Touch handset in the U.K, and was quick to praise the colourful handsets, and their touch screens. The perfect accessory for a girl band out on the road, who love nothing more than to pass time updating Twitter or browsing Facebook! Check out the handset, and all these other products yourself online, or in your nearest retailer, and who knows if you’ve been nice, maybe Santa will deliver you them on Christmas Eve.
