Twenty Five New Acts Added To Reading / Leeds Bill

A host of new acts have today been announced for this year’s Reading & Leeds music festival.

This year’s festival already promises to be one of the best line-ups to date, with Paramore, Queens Of The Stoneage and Blink 182 headlining the event.

The news comes just 50 days before the festival gates open for the three day music event in August.

New additions to the line up include The Wytches and Red Fang who are joining the bill on the NME/Radio 1 Stage, along with head liners Courteeners, Bombay Bicycle Club and Disclosure (Live).

On the Lock Up stage, Empress AD, Blacklist Royals Misty Miller will feature alongside some of the biggest names in punk and rock including stage headliners Jimmy Eat World and Gogol Bordello.

This year also sees the return of the BBC Radio 1 Xtra Stage, which will showcase the best artists of urban, hip-hop and grime. Sinead Harnett, Mirror Signal, Sasha Keable, Star.One Bad Rabbits and Tinashe were will be joining headline acts, Pusha T, Danny Brown, Giggs and Joey Bada$$.

On the BBC Radio 1 Dance Stage acts such as Secondcity, Milky Chance, Zinc, Nightbox, We Were Evergreen and The Tea Street Band will join names such as Flume, Netsky (Live) and Pendulum (DJ set).

Headliners of the Festival Republic Stage, Palma Violets, Band Of Skulls and Augustines are joined by Dolomite Minor, The Bohicas, Childhood, Sweethead, X Ambassadors, Flyte, The Royal Concept and Twisted Whee.

Tickets for the Reading Festival have already sold out, however there are still tickets available for Bramham Park in Leeds.
