Avicii has maintained his singles number one for the third week running with ‘Wake Me Up’.

The Swedish DJ sold an additional 120,000 copies this week, meaning he has surpassed the half a million sales mark. So far the single has sold 545,000 copies.

Elsewhere in the charts, former number one John Newman moves up two places to take the number two spot with his single ‘Love Me Again’. Number three is maintained by Robin Thicke with the his single ‘Blurred Lines’.

Lana Del Ray takes the number four spot after climbing an impressive 28 places with the Cedric Gervais remix of ‘Summertime Sadness’. The top five is completed by One Direction, who drop down three with their latest release ‘Best Song Ever’.

Meanwhile, Icona Pop drops out of the top five and moves to the number six spot with ‘I Love It’. Still in the Top Ten is Naughty Boy and Sam Smith with ‘La La La’ at number seven.

Passenger also drops down a position to number eight with ‘Let Her Go’, while Calvin Harris moves up five spaces to nine with ‘Thinking About You’.

The Top Ten is completed with Will.i.am, who drops down two places with ‘Bang Bang’.

The highest chart entry this week is Eliza Dolittle, with her new single ‘Big When I Was Little’ at number 12. Jay-z and Justin Timberlake claim the number 11 spot with ‘Holy Grail’.
