Vampire Weekend Announce UK Tour

Vampire Weekend have announced they will play a UK headline arena tour.

The band will play five arena dates across the UK in support of their third stuido album ‘Modern Vampires Of The City’. The album, which was released back in May is the follow up to 2010’s ‘Contra’ which debuted at Number One on the Billboard 200.

‘Modern Vampires Of The City’ also peaked at Number One on the Billboard 200 when it was released. The album peaked at number three in the UK album charts.

The indie rock band will be joined by special guests ‘Noah And The Whale’ when they embark upon their tour in November.

The tour will begin in Birmingham at the NIA on November 12 and will conclude at the Manchester Arena on November 17.

On November 13 the band will play at the London 02 Arena before heading to play at The Hydro in Glasgow. On November 16 Vampire Weekend will play at the Leeds First District Arena.

 

The full tour dates are as follows:

November 12 – Birmingham NIA

November 13 – London, The o2 Arena

November 15 – Glasgow – The Hydro

November 16 – Leeds, First Direct Arena

November 17 – Manchester, Arena

 

Tickets will be available to buy from 9am on July 12.
